I get so inspired this time of year; autumn colors, changing and falling leaves, and ALL THINGS PUMPKIN. This pumpkin hoop tutorial is a fun craft project to make because it’s easy, takes only a few supplies, and is easy on the hips (as opposed to all the other pumpkin related things I love about this time of year).

Looking for DIY summer journal inspiration, too? I’m trying to document every moment of summertime fun this year. I’m also using it as a summer bullet journal and wishlist since I don’t have travel plans for the summer but there are a number of places I’d like to visit when fall rolls around and I’m less busy.
One would think my self-imposed craft buying moratorium would put a hamper on creating a fun summer journal but who are we kidding here? I have more than enough in my craft stash to make a great journal. Here’s what I’m doing:

Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Harry magically appeared in our world. I SO can’t fathom. Summer reading is in full effect around here even though I’ve become somewhat addicted to my smart phone (that seems to be permanently attached to my left had). Between transitioning from a full-time job outside my home to working part time at the Maxx and more and more with my online clients, I am always online. Too much so, most times.
So, I am making a conscious effort to put down the phone, put away work for a bit, and get into my stack of summer reads.
