I can barely stand the excitement. I’m going home to Michigan soon. I haven’t been home to visit in a couple of years. Summertime is the best time for return trips home, I think. It’ll be just starting to warm up there. Events are popping up all over the town I am from; my calendar is quickly filling up with visits, and sights, and of course, eats.
My cousin, Erin, is getting married and her wedding is the highlight of the trip. It will be a gathering of family, a celebration of love and I may be a little too excited about it. I keep messaging her for details in child-like anticipation. Will it be outdoors? Will she have a videographer? What flavor is the cake? Hahaha. You can follow along on Instagram under the hashtag #EandKAnchorsAway. I also messaged her (several times) about that as well and in the end, I came up with the hashtag. I realize I might be pushy. She’s been an extremely good sport about it.
I’m putting together a Muskegon bucket list and will probably share it later this week. For now, I’m off to paint my toes. I have a date with Lake Michigan soon!
