I know I’ve been *Heart Eyes* for All Things Fall lately. But since it’s Thursday and Day 3 of #NaBloPoMo, it seems appropriate to post about my summer succulents since: 1. They’re still outside and 2. Because it’s Day 3 of #NaBloPoMo. Insert either *Rolly Eyes* emoji or the *Crying Eyes* emoji.
Summer Succulents
My baby succs are still outside. It’s unbelievably hot in Arkansas still; as in almost 90 degree hot. Don’t get me wrong! Unbelievable in a G R E A T way. It could stay this way all winter long if I had any say in it. Mother Nature does not often consult me, though. Since it’s continued to be lovely, we’ve been putting off moving them inside. Our house gets absolutely no sunlight after 10 am so the longer they can live outside the better.
Did I mention that one of my fave summer succulents is blooming still? It totally is!

Also, these particular summer succulents represent Day 3 of posting every day and a last ditch effort to write something of substance. Ha! I know, I know! Three days in and I’m grasping. But, at least, I didn’t just post a “hi and bye” post and run out of here like the blogging police were after me. (Notice: look for the SEO clues to see that I did actually put some thought into post structure and content)
Baby Succulents
Anyway, who doesn’t like to look at pictures of babies. Mine are just pokey babies that will bury themselves and irritate your skin if you try to cuddle them. Not that I know anything about that. These guys are the fall-offs that I plopped in some cacti soil and they’ve been growing and thriving spectacularly.
I’ll be spending more time with these guys tomorrow. The last of the warm, warm weather will be fleeing soon so it’s time they come inside for reals.
Who knows? Maybe I’ll need more fodder on Day 29 of #NaBloPoMo and you’ll see my babies again.

OK. I’m embarrassed to say that I actually had to google that 😉 National Blog Posting Month. Good luck with that and have fun. I love succulents, by the way…and its so special when one of them actually flowers. Hope the good weather lasts a while longer on your side!
