Shabby Chic Valentine Wreath

Shabby chic is just one of the decorating and crafty styles that I enjoy. It’s not the dominant style I would normally choose but this Shabby Chic Valentine Wreath has been on my mind a lot lately. Actually, this rag bow wreath is not necessarily Valentine themed! It can be used all year round and with any shabby chic or rustic decor, in my opinion. Originally, I had planned on adding some felt puffy hearts but once I got to making, I liked the look without them. I tend to be a plain, no-embellishments, kind of crafter.

Easy Rag Bow Tutorial

My Easy Rag Bow Tutorial has been a long time in the making. I have loved seeing these beautiful and creative shabby chic bows out in internet-land but was hard pressed to find a free tutorial, so I decided to make my own!

Do you ever struggle with competing decorating themes or styles? I do. All. The. Time. On one hand, I love bright pops of color, minimal knick-knacks, and clean lines. On the other hand, I also love rustic, shabby chic, neutral (trending darker) colors and all the rustic or shabby chic decorations that are out there. The bright colors usually win out in my decorating, which is basically just my craft room because I don’t “decorate” any other place in our house currently.

A New Month & a 19 for 2019 Update

I’m poppin’ in real quick on this Friday evening because I wanted to post an update on my 19 for 2019 but I also have a hot date with my snuggly bed and some Netflix movies. I haven’t been feeling the greatest these last couple of days so I’m layin’ low and possibly eating some chips and chocolate. Okay. I WILL BE eating chips and chocolate.
