My crafting hiatus is officially over and I’m back in the craft room. My friend Jeanetta invited me to an Introduction to Visual Art Journaling Workshop last weekend in Conway. I especially like them for a Thanksgiving buffet where guests can serve themselves while they wait for the main course. My family always ate mid-afternoon on Thanksgiving but my grandma always, always had her meatballs and jelly/bbq weenies waiting for us when we walked in to her house every holiday. That smell and my grandma’s welcome hug are two of my most favorite Thanksgiving memories. Along with this one.

I’ve always bought my fry boxes from my local craft store. I like to use them for gift giving, too. When I ran out of them for this project, I had a mild panic attack (because, I’m supposed to be on tv in the morning) when I realized I couldn’t find my stash of kraft paper fry boxes. I feel ridiculously silly now that I know how easy they are to make. I’ll never buy them again. Let’s make them, m’kay?
