…Wanna know what I had for lunch?

I know that recently there was a book published about blogging and it’s called No one cares what you had for lunch…100 ideas for your blog…or some such title…but…I have nothing else to write about tonight. And…as I have yet to read the book…I’m out of ideas. And…I wanna be quick…cuz Thom’s gonna call soon…and…I’m just tired.

So..

Lunch was salad and a cheesy breadstick. yum. oh..and some Nestle’s chocolate milk. And dinner was 2 frozen waffles that I inhaled about 2 minutes ago…while waiting for this page to load.

At least I’ve moved on from Cheerios 🙂

Tomorrow is hump day…and Naked Wednesday at my uncle’s house, in case anyone cares about that 🙂

…I’ve run out of Things to Say


I’m going to get fired. Have I mentioned how much I love my bed? I was an hour-and-a-half late for work again this morning…cuz I couldn’t get out of my bed. I’m totally blaming Thom..and his “good morning, sunshine” phone calls. Yep..all his fault.

In other news…I’ve run out of things to blog about. No pics to post…my camera obsession is over…I’ve taken enough pictures of myself to last a lifetime, to bore a thousand people, and could possibly be considered slightly vain. ahhhh…well.

I’ve become slightly obsessed with reading blogs. It’s pretty much all I’ve done for a couple of hours now. So much to do around here…closets to be cleaned out…drawers to be organized…sheets to be arranged, guest towels to be laundered 🙂 Lots happening in the next few weeks…so the posts might become a little more interesting….but I don’t think there will be any photos (and definitely no videos lol).

4. She sends cute little notes to me in the mail..thank you notes, birthday notes, miss you notes (even when I’ve just seen her a couple of days before).

…Dear Upstairs Neighbor,

…I’m sure you’re wondering what exactly was so funny at just after 12 midnight this morning/last night, that kept me laughing for 23 minutes and 7 seconds. I’m sure you were kept awake by my girlish giggling as the space between your floor and the ceiling in my bedroom is relatively thin and I can hear everything that goes on in your bedroom late at night, in the early mornings, and sometimes right in the middle of the afternoon. And, yes…I can assure you that “she” likes it…as you so pleadingly ask over, and over, and over again. But I digress…this is about me, not you and your extracurricular activities.

Ahhh..yes…what had me giggling last night at midnight? It was, as is typical, a conversation with Thom. In just 23 minutes we talked about the following subjects, which some might find a bit peculiar and probably downright scary. But to him and I, it’s a normal, everyday kind of talk…and is always enlightening, entertaining, and eye-opening.

Subject matter for 2…best when overheard at Midnight or later:

Turkey genitalia
Mortuary Museums
Germiphobia
Flu shots
Menstruation Museums
Toe fungus
Thanksgiving dinner

Now, dear neighbor, I’m positive these were not the only things making me chuckle, as I have a terrible memory, and the laughing sometimes makes me dizzy with glee and I sometimes have to gulp for air. But…it was only a 23 minute phone conversation–much shorter than usual, so I’m hoping that you were able to rest at some point.

Sometime, in the very near future I’m hoping you’ll be better able to follow along in the conversation, as you’ll be able to hear both sides of the conversation…or at the very least…you’ll be able to tell exactly how much I like it.

…it’s not always Rainbows and Butterflies

..it’s compromise that moves us along.

What happened to romanticism..and when exactly was it replaced by cynicism? Why do I feel like I can’t believe in love, one love, one true love forever? When did I start letting everyone else’s warped thoughts about love and romance permeate my being and compromise my beliefs? Why can’t it be rainbows and butterflies..and pretty ribbon, and flowers, and candlelight, and good old fashioned romance?

It may be naive…but isn’t it so much better to go out there with stars in my eyes rather than a chip on my shoulder?
