…April Showers…or are they just tears?
(as in…bored to tears)
I never did like the month of April. It’s kind of a boring month, wouldn’t you say? And not phonetically pleasing to me either. Yes..it’s Spring…sort of…but it’s supposed to snow three days this week. Bummer. It’s too cold to spend a tremendous amount of time outside…or else it’s raining all the time. Or…on the slight chance that it’s sunny and bright out…I’m stuck in a dull, gray, little box of an office, doing work that I don’t particularly enjoy anymore.
happy blog post, anyone?
Really, though. I’m fine….happy, even. Just a bit bored, I suppose.
Spent the last night of March in GR with Heather & Friends at a Griffins game. I love hockey…haven’t watched any games this season though. I also met Heather’s new “special friend” (laughing at that cuz an aunt of mine was inquiring about my brother’s “special friend”…kind of reminds me of when I was young and that “special friend” arrived every month….whoever came up with that term for Aunt Flo???) anyway…I digress.
Here’s a pic Heather said I needed to post. Funny that I didn’t notice what was so funny about it when I was taking the pic. Are these guys hockey players or ballerinas? Is it synchronized stretching or what?
It was nice to go out for dinner and a game and hang out with my friends…I haven’t done that in a long while.
Sunday afternoon found me playing football with Tyler…riding bikes with Tyler…wrestling, coloring, and reading with Tyler. And trying to get the kid to stand still for my insane picture-taking craziness. I’ve resorted to making up stories to get him to pose for pics.
Me: Okay…now you’re a great football star..and ya
know, every football star has to have portraits taken every year…you know, for
his fans and for t-shirts and stuff.Tyler: (looking skeptical) t-shirts?Me: Ummm….yea…you wanna be a star, right?Tyler: well…I guess so..hang on…let me get my
helmet
Later this week I’ll post the cute lil craft project the kids (Ty, Anthony, Monie) and I did on Saturday…Martha Stewart Bunny Bookmarks…they’re adorable.
I’m off to bed (: hugs

…Introducing the Littlest Knupps
Mom and I visited with my brother Scott and his family on Saturday. I’m hereby annointing them “the littlest Knupps” since Dalani is the littlest Knupp…and so is Scott….of course when I reference “the littlest Knupps,” I’ll be referring to Jenn and Kayla too. LOL. Took some pics of Mom and Dalani that I just love. Scrapping these tonight.
And, yea…I know I’m no photographer…and my pictures aren’t all that, but I’m putting my stamp on them anyway 🙂
I’m off to try to upload some pics to Flickr…we’ll see if my computer cooperates.
happy monday!

…Hello Spring
Arrivaderla, wool mittens and stripey scarves. Goodbye steamy bowls of creamy soup and stringy grilled cheese sandwiches. Bye-Bye snow boots and layers upon layers, ice scrapers and slippery slopes. See ya later lattes and chocolate-y cocoa. Sianara snowmen and sleds, snow drifts and blizzards, igloos and icicles. Adios bleakness and darkness! Arrivaderci, winter.
And….Hellloooooo Spring, old friend. I welcome your showers and flowers and fresh clean air. Hello to green leafy friends and bright yellow sunshine. What do you have in store for me this year? Bright sunshine to warm my face? New found friends to warm my heart? Is that love I smell in the air? Or is the heady, sweet scent of flowers about to bloom? Bring on the buds and blooming, the awakening, and the awareness. Be alive, lets play. Enjoy your stay…as I surely will.
Happy Spring!
