What I love second of all (because the TASTE wins first place) is how EASY this “recipe” is. Let’s take a look…
Double Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies
A little bit salty and a lot of sweetness make these peanut butter cup cookies sinfully delicious. You can go ahead and make peanut butter cookies from scratch: there’s only three ingredients; peanut butter, sugar, and an egg.
We’re all busy during the holidays and there is no shame in making spirits bright by taking the easy route: already prepared cookie dough. It makes making these peanut butter cookies so quick.
What you’ll need for these Reindeer Peanut Butter Cookies:
- 1 (16.5 oz) sleeve of already prepared peanut butter cookie dough
- 1 package of Reese’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, miniatures. (See Note 1.)
- Mini pretzels pieces. (See Note 2.)
Note 1: You will need approximately 24 minis for the cookies. You will need about 10 more for “taste testing.” Also-place the white chocolate peanut butter cups in the freezer while you scoop and bake the cookie dough.
Note 2: I broke the pretzels in half and then made them resemble antlers.
To make the Double Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies:
- Scoop one inch balls into muffin tins. Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and place one Reese’s peanut butter cup in the middle of the cookie/muffin and gently press down.
- Insert “antlers,” or alternatively, crush some pretzel pieces and sprinkle over the top.
- Refrigerate or freeze until firm.
These stay nice and soft and deliciously peanut buttery once the white chocolate hardens. The pretzels add a satisfying salty crunch and they look so fun on a cookie platter!
