I love quick and easy holiday decorations and the Easy Bunny Banner definitely fits that description. It’s easy to make and takes only a few minutes to put together a colorful decoration for any space.
Use any kind of string, yarn, or wire you have on hand. Otherwise, the twine I’m using is from the Target Dollar Spot. Similar baker’s twine can be found at most hobby stores. Let’s get hoppin’ on this simple bunny banner.
Easy Bunny Banner
I found these cute felt bunny cut outs at Target but I’ve also seen them at Michaels, too.
These already had a hole punch where the bunny’s eye would be. I punched another hole near the rear to hang them evenly. This is totally optional.
I hot glued a small, fluffy pom pom to the felt tail. It adds some cute dimension.
String the felt bunnies. I used black and white twine I had in my stash. To make stringing easier, add a little bit of clear tape to the end and wrap tightly to a point. The point makes it easier to insert into the punched holes.
The Easy Bunny Banner is lightweight enough to use washi tape to hang. I made a relatively short banner but you can make it as long as you’d like! Just add loops to the end if you want to use a different method to hang.
I love the pre-made felt bunnies because it makes crafting with kids so easy. No worries about sharp scissors or uneven bunnies.
Need more Easter inspiration? How about skipping Easter baskets this year and making these alternatives, instead?
Use the Easy Bunny Banner to decorate a parfait bar!
Or, make an Easter hanging decoration for the front door or wall.
