Hey, friends! I’ve had sort of a winter break these first couple of weeks of 2019 but I’m back with my 19 for 2019 list. It’s a fun way to kick those resolutions to the curb and do something fun instead: a list of 19 thing to do, see, accomplish in 2019.
In the past I’ve done the One Little Word practice. I’ve been choosing a word to focus on since 2007! I have a word for this year, too, but I’m loving the idea of 19 for 2019 in addition.
19 for 2019
I heard about this concept from Gretchen Rubin on her Happier podcast last year when I first started listening to her show. For whatever reason, I didn’t play along. (maybe because it was already mid-year when I started listening & binging?)
I’ve included some household to-dos and some fun things for Thom and I; a road trip. I’ve added some serious goals, like saving for a new car, getting my A1C lowered, and growing my business. And, of course, there are super fun things like opening a tag shop and a crafting weekend with my mom.
Confession: I like odd years. I don’t know why but I feel like I get more accomplished in odd years. Perhaps I’m an odd duck.
I’m feeling pretty good about my 19 for 2019 list. I think I can accomplish all of them. Do you have a word or are you doing a 19 for 2019 list, too? Leave me a comment or join in the conversation over at the Desperately Seeking: Inspiration for Creative Living Facebook Page!
