The festive pink sugar rim is made from a surprising candy. Read on to find out how I made it!
Gnome Eggnog Shooters
I’ve been obsessed with all things gnome this year. I spotted thse adorable gnome tall shooter glasses at TJ Maxx and knew they’d be perfect for our New Year’s at home.
To make them extra festive I rimmed the shooter glasses with a cinnamon-sugar made from these candies.
- Since these are a chewy candy, place half a box of the candies in the freezer for about an hour.
- After an hour, remove from freezer and place the candies into the bowl of a food processor.
- Add two tablespoons of sugar.
- Pulse until the candies are chopped and the sugar is tinted pink. The candies will not be fully chopped.
- Sift the contents of the processor bowl into a separate shallow bowl. Your cinnamon flavored sugar is ready for dipping!
- Add a tablespoon or two of corn syrup to another shallow bowl.
- Dip shooter glasses into the corn syrup and then into the cinnamon sugar.
- Set aside until you’re ready to fill.
To make spiked Gnome Eggnog Shooters:
- Mix one part eggnog to two parts Fireball.
- Please Drink Responsibly!
Snuggle in and enjoy a sip of eggnog as a special treat!
