Halloween-ing. Can’t stop. Won’t stop. I feel like October is my most creative month; that once it rolls around creativity just pours out of me in the form of pumpkins and the oranges, purples, blacks, and greens are like a Halloween rainbow that I can’t stop chasing. Take these Halloween Pretzels. A simple pretzel dipped in green candy coating becomes a creepy-cute Frankenstein when dipped in black sanding sugar. These are the things I think about when I close my eyes for bed in October.

And, who am I to stop the flow of creativity?
Halloween Pretzels
Dipping pretzels takes a bit of patience but the end result is so worth it.
These fun little pretzel nuggets are dipped in green candy coating. Once dry, they are then redipped (tops only) in black sanding sugar. I added black dots for eyes and skipped the mouth because I couldn’t get them to look just right.
What’s better than making Halloween Pretzels? Packaging them up and sharing them with friends, of course! Bag these cuties up in cellophane and hand them out to neighbors. They’d be perfect in those “You’ve Been Boo’d” ding-dong-ditch baskets that are so popular along with some Oreo Mummy Pops.
I was excited to share the process of making these Frankenstein inspired Halloween pretzels over on my friend Lacie’s blog, Easy Peasy Pleasy. She has some really fun and easy Halloween candies on her blog that inspired my Halloween Pretzels.
Does Halloween inspire you to be more creative? I’d love to hear about it!
