No more blue boxes of macaroni and cheese for me. Not that I have made those in years. Stovetop Mac & Cheese is my new favorite way to get all that cheesy goodness into my life. Or, mouth, if we’re being technical. I’m also still drooling over Pesto Cream Mac & Cheese, if truth be told.
I’m sorry to say that…I don’t have a specific recipe for you.
Stovetop Mac & Cheese
Where are you?
You guys. I have looked high and low for this recipe. I’ve looked sideways and upside down and all around. I swear I pinned it ages ago. I remember finding it as I was scheduling Facebook shares for a client’s page. I’ve made it several times since January. I can’t even find the copy of the recipe I printed out two weeks ago when I MADE A VIDEO OF THE RECIPE. Hahahahaha. Turns out the video was total crap and I’m not doing anything with it.
So, anyway, I’ll just share my thoughts on the process, m’kay?
The recipe called for 4 cheeses. I used three: mild cheddar, cream cheese, and shredded Parmesan. It was so decadant I left out the fourth, Provolone, which I have used previously and makes this stovetop mac & cheese insanely delicious. My only problem this time is that I halved the recipe and I don’t think I used enough milk. It was sort of, dry? Stringy. But it tasted amazing. And, I will make it again. WHEN I CAN FIND THE RECIPE. OR THE PIN.
I just thought, you know, that I should document that I have been “doing” pins lately, I’ve just been a total slacker at getting them posted. I’ll try again next week.
What about you? Completed any pins lately? Tell me about them or join in the conversation over on my Desperately Seeking: Inspiration for Creative Living Facebook Page.
