Putting together these DIY Marbled Gift Jars is so fun you’ll want to just keep making and giving them! I loved the technique for the DIY Marbled Flower Pots and I wanted to see what other objects could be marbled. It turns out, just about anything can be marbled.

Confession: one third of my craft room floor is currently covered with jars of all sizes and shapes. I really wanted to just keep marbling.
DIY Marbled Gift Jars
Once I got the hang of marbling ceramic flower pots I wondered what else could be marbled. It turns out, just about anything!
To dip glass, follow the same steps as the DIY Marbled Flower Pots. I did do a little more prep for the glass, though:
- Wash & dry the glass jar thoroughly.
- Wipe with alcohol to completely clean jar. Let dry
- Dip partially, or do the whole jar!
- Use a deeper container of room temperature water to fully submerge jars.
Once my jar was thoroughly dry (just took a few hours in the sun), I pulled out some scrapbooking supplies to put together these fun nail polish gift jars.
- Cut out scrapbooking paper to fit inside ring.
- Cut out tag and hole punch. Slip ribbon through punched hole in tag.
- Hot glue ribbon to outside of ring.
- Add rub-ons to jar. (rub-ons are like fancy stickers where you don’t see the backing and you use a popsicle stick to rub the sentiment right onto the jar.
- Layer cotton balls in bottom of jar.
- Fill with fun nail polishes or nail care items
- Gift away! Or, use them as storage jars, too!
These would be really cute storage jars in a bathroom or craft room, too.
Really, you could fill them with anything at all. I was inspired by my Gift Ideas Pinterest board. And, this pin specifically.
Other ideas for gifting:
- Mother’s Day
- Graduation
- Bridal Shower
- Tuesday (Gifts are great any day of the week!)
- Birthday
