Letterboards are all the rage right now and I LOVE mine. I’ve actually purchased a couple of them because I wasn’t happy with them and/or I may have ruined one by hot gluing felt flowers to it. Ahem. Yea, I did that. Now, lets talk about how to style a letterboard without doing that, m’kay? With a few design tips I’ve learned from hours of watching wreath makers on FB, styling a letterboard is so easy.

How to Style a Letterboard
Gather:
- Letterboard
- Additional letters, optional. I LOVE these bronze letterboard letters.
- Felt flowers (handmade)
- Other props that compliment letterboard or quote
Tips:
- Arrange in a group of 3, 5, or 7. When placing items alwasys use an odd number.
- Place items at different heights forming a trinangle. It gives the eye a flow to follow and adds depth and interest.
- Consider grouping items that are the same color and then add a POP of color, something that will draw interest as a focal point.
Once you have a placement you’re happy with, it’s easy and quick to change out the quote as often as you’d like.
Here’s a quick video I made of my process. I’m taking part in a 6 week influencer video challenge and the first assignment was a timelapse.

What fun quote or saying would you use on a letterboard?

Great idea!
I recently bought a set of word magnets for composing poetry that would be perfect for posting quotes such as yours. They suggested using your refrigerator but I have a cool metal board that I’m going to use.
