You guys! Life lately. I’m telling you: whirlwind! I’m finally feeling like I can slow down a minute and breathe.
Here’s what I’ve been up to…
Life Lately
October through December was just an absolute crazy-town madhouse. I started blogging more (did ya notice? lol). I started crafting more. I started showing up on TV. Crafting on television. Complete surprise and I’ve been loving it.
The end of January brought my last few days at the day job. After almost 21 years, I decided to hang up my adding machine tape and head out into my own new adventure. I’ve launched into full time mode as a social media manager and virtual assistant. My business, Seek Creative, became an LLC in January. I’m loving working at home. At 43, I’m finally starting to feel like an adult. About time, right? Ha!
I didn’t take any pictures on my last day of work; there were too many tears. But, I did take this fabulous picture of the celebratory pizza I had at ZaZa’s in Conway with my friend Jeanetta after work.
What else? I’ve been crafting up a storm for Valentine’s day and making videos for YouTube. And, generally, just being really happy with life lately.
What’s to come
If you stick around here, you’ll notice more sponsored posts and affiliate links added to posts. You may have already noticed. Going forward, this is how I will continue to work-from-home and supplement my income. I’ll try really hard to not get smarmy about it and I’ll share things that I love, will or have used, and would recommend to friends and family. After all, that’s who is reading this, right? We’re all friends here!
