Narrowing down my 5 must have craft supplies was a real challenge, friends. I think I did a pretty good job of it, though. These 5 must have craft supplies are the tools that I turn to most when starting any craft project and they are perfect for beginner crafters, too.

5 Must Have Craft Supplies
One | Scrapbook papers. 6 x 6 paper pads are my absolute favorite. They’re so easy to cut up and use with punches. I use them to make birthday banners, greeting cards, and so much more. My favorite brand to use is American Crafts.
Two |Â Fiskers 6″ Bypass Photo Trimmer-I love this for creating cards. The 6 x 6 papers fit so perfectly in it. As the name implies, it’s also great for trimming photos.
Three | The Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz is such a fun tool. The staples are super tiny and I use them for making bunting and attaching small embellishments to cards and other crafts.
Four | Twine is essential for a lot of the projects I like to make. I use it for creating burlap bunting (like that picture above), wrapping gifts with kraft paper, and adding embellishments to fall and rustic-themed projects. I love how it looks with the Pumpkin Hoops I made a few months ago. My fave brand is from Canvas Corp Brands.
Five | The Martha Stewart Screw Punch is so versatile. It can punch anywhere, unlike traditional hole punches that are limited by how far you can insert the paper. Plus, it has three sizes of punches that store right in the handle. Let’s not discuss where the other two punches are. Ha! It’s currently out of stock on Amazon right now but I’ve seen it at most hobby and craft stores.
So, that’s it! My 5 must have craft supplies. These are undeniably what I reach for most and they can always be found right on my desk (Covered up with a billion other craft projects, but hey. Always there!).
