Vanilla Glaze. Can we just talk about this part of fall baked goods recipes that’s so overlooked. Or second-thought-ed. Second thought-ed? Yes, I just typed that. This Vanilla Glaze Recipe demands to be center attention. It demands its own post.
And when vanilla glaze talks, y’all. We listen. Then, we gobble it up. Right? Righhhht.
This muffin, alone, is good. But, this muffin glazed…
This muffin, vanilla glazed, is divine. It’s delicious. It is heard throughout the cove and all the other baked goods rise and demand to be glazed, too.
So maybe that’s going overboard just a bit. My baked goods don’t talk. They’re not around long enough to develop human characteristics.
Vanilla Glaze Recipe
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Whisk ingredients until smooth. Taste. Drink. Repeat recipe again and try not to drink vanilla glaze again. You’re welcome.
If you’re interested in enjoying this vanilla glaze recipe on actual baked goods (rather than just eating it with a spoon which is good, too) you can head over to Namaste and Eat Cupcakes to get my favorite Pumpkin Spice Muffin recipe.
Happy glazing, friends!
