I’ve been holding on to some pretty fun news-not so secret news if you follow me on any social media platforms. I’ve been accepted into the Walnut Hollow Blogger/Influencer program and with any luck and some creative pitches I’ll be sharing some fun wood working projects over there from time to time. I’m so excited to have my first post for Walnut Hollow live today. I had so much fun making the DIY Rustic Card Box and I had even more fun making this DIY Rustic Canvas Banner to add darling detail.
Supplies:
Canvas Sheet
Ribbon Trim
Scissor & Glue Gun
Letter Stickers
String (I used wax cording here)
Crochet Thread & Needle (hmmm…forgot to picture here. Look for it in the video)
Repeat with the ribbon trim.
Add a dab of hot glue to the back of each letter sticker and apply to the ribbon and canvas. This will hold all three layers nicely. Cut as many 1 – 1 1/2 inch lengths of string/cord as you have letters. Feed through the letter holes, tie in a simple knot, and cut off the tails. This adds a nice detailed layer.
String together the canvas pennants using the crochet thread and needle.
