Confession (that’s probably not really a confession if you’ve ready any number of posts from the past): I don’t like animals. Not even my cat. There. I said it. I’m not a fan. Sure, he’s cute sometimes. And, yea, it’s funny when he says “mama” while meowing at the door (funny for the first 2 or 3 times-100 times-not so much). But, for the most part, he’s Thom’s cat.
Thom’s the animal lover. Which is why I sometimes find myself at the pet store. The odd thing? I love talking to the lizards and the geckos. I also could stare at the fish for hours. It’s relaxing. And fish are pretty. And, quiet. So quiet. Love.
You guys? Gold polka dots! GOLD. Is this not THE most stylish fish you’ve ever seen?
Forget the old, childless cat lady. I think I’ll become the fish lady. Fish. Not fishy. That’s a whole different kind of person.
What’s your favorite fish?

I'm not a fish person. Unless it's fried catfish on my plate or in a nice, expensive, salt water aquarium at the dentist office. We had an aquarium when my daughter was little. Guess who always had to clean it blah blah blah. Yep.
