I’m starting a new group: the Bad Mood Bloggers.
Here are the requirements for membership:
1. Must currently be a blogger.
2. Must have extensive knowledge of current blogging trends (memes, sponsored posts, round-ups).
3. Must be extremely ANNOYED. BY. ALL. OF. IT.
I am president, CEO, and show runner. The rest of you members can duke it out for the other notable positions (because of course there has to be a hierarchy).
I just can’t get with it. Maybe it was February with it’s cold temps, snow, and seemingly unending gray cloudy days. Maybe it’s boredom. Maybe it’s seeing the same old bloggers doing the same old things-five different ways (each of which has already been thought, done, blogged) and not feeling creative enough to blog something different. (Sorry bloggy friends, I love you. I really do. It’s the “others” I’m speaking of)
Or, maybe it’s the pressure of feeling as if I need to recreate the creative wheel and not living up to that pressure.
Whatever it is, it’s kept me from this space.
Perhaps I need to just get back to using this space as I did all those years ago when I started this blog-just a spot to record random goings-on, thoughts, and sharing what I had for dinner.
Sigh.
So…
We had Pad Thai for dinner. Thom’s getting closer at recreating his fave restaurant’s recipe. I had two servings. I didn’t tip the waiter.
I’ll be back when the sun’s out and I’m in a better humor.

I feel ya. Blog what YOU want to blog. It's okay to take a break for a while and regroup. Step back and take the pressure off and just see where it takes you. 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. I've been a little out of the blog visiting loop lately myself trying to catch up with life, but starting to get back in touch.
