**Disclosure** As part of the Canvas Corp design team I am provided with product to create projects and from time to time I will be sharing those projects here. All opinions are my own and I have not been compensated for sharing my projects.
My absolute most favorite craft supply the last two years or so? A piece of vintage sheet I thrifted. I’ve been using it on all sorts of projects and I knew that it had to be included. I cut the fabric into three layers of hearts and speckled them with more TA mist and attached them with spray adhesive and bits of mini-stapled twine. The ‘Choose Love’ sentiment was letter stamped on bits of canvas and mini-stapled.
I mentioned that I added a double layer of burlap; I meant for the canvas to be interactive, so to speak. Lift up the first layer of burlap and you’ll find a happy picture of Thom and me the night after he proposed at AWBU. It’s simply attached with adhesive and bordered with bits of pretty lace and gold sequins.
I finished it off with bits of misted canvas, vintage cloth, and printed tissue layered and attached just under the border.
I love how this turned out. I think it looks soft and romantic with pretty layers made of new and old supplies and with a sentiment that I try to live by.
Are you up for the challenge? What elements would you add to stretched canvas to describe yourself?
beautiful, soft and feminine! Love it!
Cute!
I like your header! Pretty!
This square is something that normally isn't my style, but I really love how you put it together. It seems a bit country to me – which I usually don't like – but I love it here. You made it feminine.
