When I left you last in August I was prepping for Some Craftsembly Required. I was anxious. Nervous. Insecure. Scared no one would show up and scared that no one would like me. Yes, yes I am nine years old.
The evening was so lovely. Only five ladies showed up, but you know what? It was the perfect number. It was intimate (candles, a quiet factory whirring (air conditioning-ha!) in the background, and freshly decorated fall booths all around us). It was filled with laughter and story telling, cutting and pasting, and new friendships being formed. It was exactly what I was hoping for.
We crafted DIY notepads, paper flowers, and at the request of the ladies-paper pinwheels (which I learned from Camp Lovely-my total inspiration for this whole night).
There were door prizes from my awesomely generous blogger friends. Jeanetta from So I Was Saying (and a Camp Lovely gal!) sent over these lovelies; crocheted button brooches. Thank you, Jeanetta!
My friend Stephanie sent over a gift certificate for her soap shop (I recommend Oh, Honey!) Southern Girl Soapery. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Stephanie.
Looks delightful! And thanks for the shout out.
