So. Summer decided to show up after all. It’s not so bad though; a good excuse to stay inside and finish the craft room. Hopefully (fingers crossed) the painting will be finished today-just the floor molding to paint. Shelves have been put back up and my new painted pegboard added. I’m so in love it so far.
This is the summer of taking chances and being brave(er). That one email I sent back in June hyping up my social media skills has really parlayed into a fun friendship and fun new crafting adventures.
I took another chance and pitched a craft night proposal at The Old Glove Factory. Not that I really needed to pitch hard-Brenda is so awesome she immediately told me to go for it.
So…my first crafting adventure is underway! I’m calling it Some Craftsembly Required.
Now, I’m a little intimidated-for sure. I know so few people in Heber. Soon to change! Is it crazy to be almost 40 and still nervous and shy about making friends?
See more details here and if you’re local and want to join in the fun register here.
And, now, on to getting the craft room filled back up and to making some pretties for Some Craftsembly Required.
What leaps are you taking this summer! I’d love to hear about it here or join in the conversation over at Facebook!

I love how you keep stretching outside your comfort zone. You have no reason to be worried about hosting this event. You will rock it out. You are an inspiration! Too bad I already turned 40.
