I’m totes going to name drop here. I know Heather Davis. It’s legit because we’re friends on Facebook. We met at breakfast last year at the Arkansas Women Bloggers conference and I think I might have spit out my scrambled eggs because she had me in stitches the entire morning. She’s a story teller, y’all. And a funny one at that.
You probably know her, too. She’s also goes by Momma, as in Minivan Momma. Her blog of the same name has the tag line: life in the funny lane.
Heather has just had her first book published and I’ve been reading it for a few weeks {advanced copy, y’all}. I know what you’re thinking: a few weeks? Well, yea, it’s difficult to read through tears {of laughter} and between running to the bathroom and panty changing {it’s that funny}.
TMI Mom: Oversharing My Life is a collection of short essays about the hilariousness of life as a wife, momma, and woman. It’s an easy read because Heather writes just like she talks, sweet but frank. She totally puts it all out there with an honest edge that seriously has made me think more than once- I’m not the only one?
Jalapeno juice on her hoo-ha? Yep, it’s in there. Daughters who wear her thongs on their heads. Uh huh. It’s true. Not only is that one in the book-you can actually hear Heather relay that funny here:
I’m honestly enjoying reading this series of essays and I think you will, too.
