Thom was in charge of our dinner menu last week. He was pretty thorough; he searched the internets, made out the grocery lists for me, and then sent me links for my approval. It was pure coincidence that he had found a recipe that I’d already had pinned for ages.
The Pin: Brown Garlic Sauce {an all purpose stir-fry sauce} from Food: Home of the Home Cook.
The Verdict: Great sauce, although a tad bit salty which wasn’t a huge shock since it starts out with a whopping 2/3 cup soy sauce. Next time we’ll use low-sodium soy sauce and back off the amount taste-testing as we go.
