I’m going to be frank. This month has pretty much been dismal here at Cove Cottage. Icky weather {and by icky I mean old-man winter is such a b-turd}, a car that is having mechanical problems {and by mechanical I mean: it won’t run right}, and a major setback in Thom’s recovery have left us feeling drained and has wiped our our good spirit.
Bummer, right? Hence, the lack of posting. Mom always said if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all. Actually, scratch that. My mom just said it. Why cover poo with honey? I’ve always liked that about my mom. I should try to be more like her.
AAAannnyway. Here are a few comforting links helping me get through the dreariness of January:
Jodi spent Christmas and the New Year in Paris and I’m seriously envious of her travelogue. Every single post makes me want to fly to France asap.
This baby girl makes me want to speed things up a bit and get the baby-ball rolling. Is she not the most presh thing ever? via Posie Gets Cozy
Pinterest, of course. I’ve been wedding pinning like mad lately.
Looking forward to February and a little self-love {ugh. not that kind, creep}. I won a spot in Vivienne McMaster’s e-course Be your own Beloved. I’ll be getting in front of the camera. Yikes. Motivated to get these eyebrows cleaned up, my hair did, and actually wear makeup again.
