I have to say that I am in love with this year’s holiday card from Minted. I was impressed with the quality of the paper and ink as well as the attention to detail and customer service. A designer looks at each order and emails a proof to preview before printing. They make any necessary adjustments to color correction and placement. They also allow for detailed instructions or suggestions for any of their pre-designed cards. How cool is that?
The design I chose was modern, fun, and playful. On the reverse side, I shared a photo of Thom and myself the day after he proposed at the Arkansas Women Blogger conference at the Ozark Folk Center. I loved that I was able to share our engagement with the Christmas card!
I initially thought I’d line the envelopes with pretty coordinated paper to give the ensemble a nice, finished look. Except, my talents do not include paper cutting or patience and so I had to dream up a different idea to add some personality to the envelope. Washi tape and a holiday stamp worked quite well.
I hope my friends and family received as much joy opening these as I had putting them together!

And I haven't/ won't be sending out christmas cards so maybe I can alter this design and use it for "new years" cards??? 😉
