Disneyland may be the happiest place on Earth for some, but for me it’s a good ole’ pumpkin patch. Take me to one in the fall, throw in some pumpkin spice cake donuts, and give me a hot cup of coffee or warmed apple cider and I’m a happy girl.
I haven’t found such a place here in Arkansas {okay, to be fair, I haven’t searched for that place}, but my Autumnal happy place here in the south is in Searcy at The Mum Man Garden Center. I’ve been visiting every September/October for the last three or four years for my yearly Mum plant.
The owner, Rhonda, is always so pleasant to chat with. She’s full of energy and always has a smile for me and Thom.
How could one not be happy here in the center of the city?
New to me- grey pumpkins. Wouldn’t these look just awesome in a creepy Halloween setup?
Or how about this scary, snake-y looking gourd?
I’ve already been once this fall…but I’m thinking I need to go back for pumpkins.
Connect with Rhonda & The Mum Man Garden center on Facebook where you’ll find hours, location, and a map to their place. Tell ’em I sent you 🙂

There is a pretty good pumpkin patch out towards Augusta where there is a big corn maze and they do hayrides. If you go holler at me. It's pretty near my house if I take a shortcut through the bean fields!
