So…not only was there no cake {and thus, no custard filling} but everyone totally forgot about my work anniversary. Co-worker FAIL! For the record, I pretty much knew that they would forget…but I still couldn’t help giving them the benefit of the doubt. I’m a glass-half-full thinker most of the time.
I did, however, receive my letter of congrats, 15-year pin, and gift card about twenty minutes before it was time to leave for the day. Oh…and a promise of lunch out with all the managers next week. Uh. Thanks?
Thom didn’t forget, though. {really, how could he when all he heard for days was: “I hope there’ll be cake!”} Thanks, love!

Happy 15th, Gina! It's my fifteenth year, too. 🙂 I think the official present for work anniversaries is blog love.

Well I am sad that they haven't fully recognized the amazement that is Gina! Those losers! We love you and we recognize and know that in your blazing glory we are just little flickers of candlelight.
Okay too much snark? Sorry I was really trying to sincere congratulations, but today may be my last day at work since my boss is a complete TOOL!

I am guilty of forgetting…on the day, but quite honestly at least I had an excuse. I do work 2 jobs now. But I didnt really forget…altogether! You should amend this blog because you did get a totally adorable owl coffee cup to set at your desk and remind you that someone did think of you…just a bit late. You do so much for our store Gina and I thank you and appreciate you. I am sorry your gift was so late!
