Much of the weekend was spent denying that I was coming down with “something.” I even dragged myself into work on Sunday morning to cover a shift for a manager thinking that working through said “something” would help keep it at bay. Not only did that not work, it made me feel much, much worse. Seriously feel like someone ran me over. Headache. Fever. Chills. Sweats. Shivers. Snot. Coughing. Lungs outside my body. Also, at what point in my life did I start peeing a bit when I cough? And, because I came home from work and slept a few hours: I’m awake {and still hacking} at 3:30 am. Nice.
Weekend Update
I’m all stocked up with triple soothing action lozenges, Powerade, and mint chocolate chip ice cream {for the throat-soothing medicinal purposes only, of course}. I have Pinterest at my fingertips, tissue at-the-ready, and luckily, the kindle is stocked up nicely with some new reads. I’m not moving for the next few days {except for a doctor’s appointment, hopefully}.

You poor baby. It's an awful bug! Many naps during day, Nyquil or the equivalent at night. Add orange juice to your list. Feel better soon.
