The month of November is National Blog Posting Month– a challenge of sorts to post every day for the entire month. I participated way back in 2006 when I was new to the blogosphere and I actually posted every. single. day. It was indeed, a huge challenge. I’m going to attempt to take part this year. We’ll see how it goes.
I have some thoughts about what I’d like to write already. Blogher, who has taken over the challenge {it includes daily prizes} provides daily writing prompts to help steer through writer’s block if needed.
Throughout the month I’ll also be sharing some thoughts on gratefulness and some of the things I am most grateful for lately.
Can I start out by sharing something that you might find a little odd? Something I’m grateful for today? Target toilet paper. Uh huh. Target toilet paper- not the stuff they sell, but the stuff in the public restrooms- is the softest toilet tissue I’ve ever experienced. I work just a few stores down from Target and often spend my lunch hour perusing the aisles and hitting the Dollar Spot. Sometimes I won’t even use the restrooms at my own store because the toilet tissue at Target is far superior. Maybe what I should say is that I’m grateful that Target cares enough about it’s customers to provide the soft stuff as opposed to the stiff, scratchy toilet paper. Weird, I know…but it’s something I notice regularly {heh…I said regular}.
By the way…I am in no way affiliated with Target and I have not been coerced or compensated in any way for this post. I am, simply, one satisfied customer and happy to pass along happy things when I see {or feel} them. lol {that was me trying to be humorous}
