I’m smack-dab in the middle of a seven day work run and man, am I feelin’ it! I should have known those two 5-day weekends would soon catch up with me. It doesn’t help matters that I’ve dropped into bed lateLate each and every night this week. I’ve become a tad bit obsessed with the Mad Hungry Game Grub Bowl. Which reminds me…
Voting for this round ends on Monday, January 31. It’s probably an excellent thing I have to work all weekend…or else I’d be sitting here refreshing the votes over and over.

Have you heard of Pinterest? It’s a pretty awesome place to “pin” all those pretty images I love to look at from the Internet. Photos can be categorized and each pic links to the source. It’s full of pretty little goodies, inspiration, and talent.
Happenings in the ds{g} kitchen this week include flaming toast {not only did I burn toast…it caught on fire}, dinners {yes, multiple} of eggs and potatoes, and Coconut Granita with Coconut Wafers. Recipe is from the December/January 2011 issue of Everyday with Rachel Ray.
