It’s that time of year again! My favorite season: cooler temps, pumpkins, and of course- lots of halloween goodies. I started a little early this year as I just couldn’t wait to get my pumpkin on. Last weekend was filled with sweet pumpkin goodness:
Pumpkin Spice Lattes & Pumpkin Bars
Today, I was flipping through some old issues of Halloween magazines trying to glean some inspiration for a contest I’m thinking of entering and came across a cute snack idea: green apples and peanut butter with slivered almond fangs. Since I had all items on hand I thought I’d make snack time a little more fun {cuz, really, eating for me is always fun}.
Who said you had to have kids around to enjoy these kinds of things? I love Halloween…makes me feel like a kid again 🙂
So simple to make:
- Core a granny smith apple, leaving skin on.
- Slice each section in half length-wise.
- Top one side with a tablespoon of peanut butter and top with other side of the apple.
- Add slivered almond “fangs” or multiple slivers for a silly, toothy smile!
- Enjoy!
