I’m blogging today from Thom’s new-to-us Power Mac G4!! He found it {used} on Craigslist…for $75. Can you believe it. It was a S T E A L!! It came with the tower, a Dell monitor, a keyboard, and the mouse. I was such a doubter in the beginning…how could {or why would} anyone sell a Mac for $75?!? Turns out the guy buys and sells lots of stuff so he can sell ’em for cheap. Totally works for me and I’m slowly finding my way around. I’ve been on Facebook several times already today-so nice to have things load super quick.
I’ve been in the mood to read lately so I have a few books requested at two different libraries. I finished The Lost Symbol and LOVED it! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I also have something on the way from Paperbackswap.com.
Made calzones for the first time tonight. Used Thom’s fave bread/pizza dough and pizza sauce. They definitely didn’t look the greatest {need to work on pinching and sealing the dough better} but they tasted SO good.
I can finally tell the cats apart. Hop’s face and ears are getting so Tabby-Orange…and so is the fur on his back. Plus, he loves me the best–or at least he loves me better than his sister.
And, finally, American Idol: is it just me or are the auditions super boring this year? I think the show is approaching the wall. Can’t wait for the competition to start.
Hope y’all are doin’ well and feelin’ fine!

American Idol highlights "pants on the ground", and "bridge jumping girl". Whenever I read your blog in the morning I am hungry!!

I think the guy who got put in cuffs was on something, and that he kinda sounded like Bob Dylan?? Let us know if the Mac keeps working good. I kinda wanted a Mac when I got a laptop, but wasn't ready to shell that much out, but I hear they are the best!!

P.s. looked on career builder for jobs in Heber Springs, but couldn't find any 🙁
