I lived alone for quite awhile. I did what I wanted- ate, slept, cleaned {or didn’t clean} when I wanted. Most importantly, I decorated how I wanted. I definitely had a vision for my apartment at the Amazon and working at the Maxx provided and ideal place to score some awesome furnishings, accents, and decorations.
One of the most difficult things about merging two households has to be the coming together of possessions. Thom has started sifting through his belongings to move from storage to the new-to-us house. He definitely has some interesting things.
I’m really trying to have an open mind and not obsess about my “vision” for our house. I’m sure we can be creative and create a home that we both love and will be comfortable in.
Thom had this mug made at the week long Pre-Superbowl celebration in downtown Pontiac in 1982. It used to be a coffee mug but it’s been knocked around a bit over the years and is missing a handle. I think it will look cool with some funky grass growing out the top {Thom’s idea!}.
How have you dealt with merging differing tastes?

You mean I have to take his taste into account?? 🙂 Let's just say I'm still working on it 😉

…That's if he even cares! Thom keeps saying I can do what I want…but who wouldn't want to see some of their own stuff around too?
Glad to "see" you around friend!
