I’ve known for ages that there is something wrong with my fuel system…and Thom has taken the Cav into a couple of different mechanics, but no one will touch the underside of my car because that Michigan salt and cruddy weather has totally rusted it over. My gas tank has a big hole in the top and needs to be changed out….but the fuel line is so rusty that no one will even go near it. It could probably be fixed but at such a tremendous cost that it’s probably not even worth it. With over 200,000 miles, my little car has served me well, but I think it’s time to part.
So, today Thom and I will venture out and check out the {im}possibility of financing a newer car. It’s hard to let my hopes creep up with my credit history and current student loans, bills, and just getting by on my weekly checks.

Rough week for you my friend! Hoping you find some good, cheap-ish wheels! We had DQ ice cream cake on Lyddie's birthday (9.3) and with a nice forkful I had a "toast" to the years of service from the Luv-Gug #2.
