Friday was an awesome day to head down to Little Rock to enjoy the Greek Food Festival. It has rained almost every day for the last three weeks. Seriously– Like 13 out of 16 days of rain or something. We were offered a reprieve from the rain on Friday and rewarded with blue skies and high temps–90 in L. R.
The baklava was D E L I S H. Chocolate for me….original for Thom.
After eating, we toured the marketplace and checked out these hand painted eggs….some were intricately painted real eggs:
and some were wooden eggs:
We were able to tour the Greek Orthodox Church. It was magnificently beautiful:
No trip to Little Rock would be complete without a stop at the Scrapbook Corner, Kroger {to buy our fave falafel mix}, and an Indian grocery store to pick up some awesome pita bread. Care to guess what we had for lunch today?
Hope y’all had a fabulous weekend. Tell me about it in comments!

P.S.
I added some pics of Thom’s pico de gallo to the post below since “just” talking about how good it is doesn’t do it justice. Tell him how awesome he is and he just may make some for ya sometime!
