More of the same, friends. So much so that I haven’t even wanted to update here. Unpacking is going slowly. Still washing dishes, putting away all my “stuff,” and wondering where it’s all going to go. We haven’t even started with Thom’s things yet. The house is extremely small. As I’m opening boxes I’m coming across things I think I should have gotten rid of before the move. It’s probably easier to put things into perspective now that I’ve actually lived without them for over a year.
It’s definitely feeling like Spring around here. It’s been in the high 60s and today it’s supposed to be in the 70s. I can’t wait to have dinner out on the deck and enjoy the breeze. I’ll be home in just over a month, though….back to the cold temps of Michigan. Hopefully there won’t be snow 🙂
Hope you all are well!

Gina, I still have about 8 boxes of stuff in my garage. I’m thinking I should just not unpack them and take them straight to Goodwill since I’ve lived this long without wanting/needing to know what’s inside! I’ve already taken 2 loads to Goodwill!

Take heart, Gina. We moved from a 3,500 sq ft house down to 1,900 sq ft two years ago. When all was said and done, the “leftovers” filled a big Salvation Army moving truck and we still have a few boxes in the attic. Good luck!

Thanks for the comments, ladies…and Uncle Mike 🙂
I just keep walking around the house shaking my head and wondering what to do with so much stuff!
