How I wish digital cameras had existed back when I was a kid. Can you imagine my picture file if they had? My memory has become so limited for whatever reason, but when I look back at photos I can recall details, emotions, events, etc.
I’m going to try to bring back Way back Wednesday posts, but sadly, today’s post is photo-less because I napped too long this afternoon and never made it over to storage to dig out a photo to blog about 🙂
When I think about my school life, really, the only grade I can remember is the sixth. That’s the year my group of friends decided to give ourselves nicknames. Mine was Buffy. I have no idea why. It’s also the year we spent recesses making up dance routines out behind the school. I think somebody actually brought a boom box and we all lined up and danced. Am I remembering this correctly? Heather? Melly?
Other random memories:
It was also the year that I first remember any of my friends having “boyfriends.”
My Grandpa P died at the end of the school year.
Hmmmm…this is harder than I thought. See? Without the photos I’m clueless 🙁 Old Friends, What do you remember about the sixth grade? Do you have pictures of us to share on WBW? Send them my way, please! New friends! Would also love to hear your random memories 🙂

I remember the practicing of dance routines, but don’t remember the nicknames (I have the worst memory). I remember going to at least one Lumberjacks hockey game with you and your fam but that may have been 5th. What year was it we went to Cedar Point? I remember buying the madonna gloves from the cedar point store (black lace with no fingertips-wonder where those ever went?)

Oooohhhhh Yeah! Cedar Point. I was grounded “for life” after that trip. Remember that you and I “took off” {my mom’s words} and spent the entire day by ourselves?? That was so much fun.

I was worry sick about you two. Well at least someone had a good time that day. I guess mothers shouldn't worry so much about their daughters. I could go on & on but I won't I do feel to good right now I have a upset stomach.
