So much for even thinking about posting every day in January 🙂 I’ve been enjoying shorter days at work {even though I’ve thoroughly cleaned out my office, packed up and hauled away old files, and cleared off my ole desk, which makes me feel productive and actually happy to be at work {gasp}}. I’ve also enjoyed an afternoon nap here and there {okay, to be honest: every afternoon} and extra quality time with Thom. It’s been sunny and in the high 50s the last two days which makes this vitamin-D deficient girl mucho happy. Let’s all hug, shall we?
My new lunch bag. For some odd reason I feel giddy when I’m packing this little cutie with the same-ole cast of lunch characters {usually a cheese & bagel sandwich, chips, and diet mtn dew}. I don’t know if I mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, but I had bought a different lunch tote {brown} that was sitting right outside my office door. I instantly fell in love and just *had* to have it. And then the green Koko {aka Christy} came along and I just *had* to have her too. Does that make me flaky? ** Found Christy at Steinmart**
On Sundays, Thom and I have been driving to Searcy for dinner and then hanging out at Hastings {bookstore} afterward. I’ve had lists of books to read written on scraps of paper that have been floating around my purse for weeks. Finally I have a place to keep a {t0-read} list that is fun and practical. If only I could remember to take it with me :} Journal is from Chronicle books….but of course, it was purchased at the Maxx…TJ Maxx where you get the Maxx for the minimum.
It’s funny how the little things in life can make a girl happy. Of course, big things are nice too. Like boyfriends, and family, and new cars. Kitchen appliances. Raindrops on roses. Whiskers on kittens and warm woolen mittens {Actually, now that I’ve mentioned it, whilst at Target purchasing the Softlips I did buy some pink striped mittens for $1.47}. Anyway.
