Our drive was flawless and the scenery was beautiful. I love fall and the changing leaf colors, crisp air, and cozy mornings. The weather was perfect in Michigan, although, I have to say that I’ve acclimated to a warmer climate quite well and found myself complaining about the cool weather.
Heather’s wedding was lovely from beginning to end. We started our day at the salon having hair and make-up done. After a quick stop at Subway we {the bridesmaids & Heather} enjoyed lunch together before getting into our wedding clothes. I sort of hung back while Heather was getting ready. The other three bridesmaids helped fasten, tie, and settle her in.
The Bridal party trekked down to downtown GR for photos, which was so much fun. We spent about an hour and a half posing, laughing, and enjoying the time together.
The ceremony was sweet and quick. I cried, as usual.
We posed for more formal pictures afterward and then headed to the reception. It was a lovely, lovely evening, and I was so happy to have been a part of it.
I haven’t edited any of the photos yet…that’s on the agenda for today. I don’t have many, as I didn’t have my camera much, but Thom was sweet enough to snap a few during the day. I should have them edited, burned, and uploaded to Flickr this evening.
