I was up early today; enjoyed a cool morning, a bright blue sky, and awesome sunshine while I blog surfed and made these:
Spent the day hanging out with Thom and our new friend. I think she may think she belongs to us. Invited her in for milk again and she decided to make herself comfortable:

Sopapilla Cheesecake
2 cans crescent rolls
2 packages cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter
cinnamon to taste
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix cream cheese, vanilla and 1 cup of the sugar until creamy. Spread one can crescent rolls (in one piece) on bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan. Spread mixture over dough & place second can on top. Melt stick of butter & pour over the top. Sprinkle remaining sugar & cinnamon on top of butter & bake for about 30 minutes or until dough is set.

Ovens may vary I always check this out after about 25 minutes (and its usually done)
