for the record books.
Record amounts of rude customers. Yea…so the niceties of Southern hospitality must have worn off for the Holiday season. I’ve been called fat this week. One woman noticed how big my “titties” are. And I was yelled at by a skinny, ugly, rude dude for his having to wait too long in my line. Have I mentioned I hate retail? I left work early on Thursday, in tears, and really, really missing my own job…my own office, and my own solitude. {sigh}
Record amounts of missing home. I started thinking about not being home to decorate the Christmas tree with Ty this year. Started thinking about how we won’t be baking any cookies together. Well….maybe we will but not for another couple of weeks. Anyway…I was thinking all this at work while I was being bullied by that customer, and I just broke and couldn’t take it anymore. I had to get outta there. So, off I went, home to Thom and Aunt Fran’s tomato-macaroni & cheese….always comforting when it’s cold outside.
So..anyway….I’ll be working all weekend. Hopefully the people will be much nicer…and my mind will be in a better place and mood. Hope your weekend is a good one.
Love to all,
gina
P.S. Micheal Buble’s “I’ll be home for Christmas” is playing in my Phillips right now…

Do you have to wear a smock Gina? When I worked at Rite Aid and had to wear one behind the register I had numerous people asking me if I was pregnant (I feel for you!!) Hang in there “what doesn’t kill us can only make us stronger”.
