Can’t stop thinking about the impending move. Excited yet very, very nervous. I tried the moving-away thing once before, you’ll remember. I was a lot younger then, though. I’ve grown up quite a bit, right? Every time Mom and I discuss it, we both end up in tears. I just keep saying it’s not Japan….it’s only 16 hours away…not even a day’s drive away. And then I think of leaving Ty…my sweet, sweet little nephew with whom I’ve spent just about every other weekend for the last {almost} seven years…and I lose it again and again. If only I could take him with me. So anyway…that’s what’s on my mind. And since I like sharing pictures…here’s the two of us this past weekend. Walkin’ in the rain…
Read one more book this week…Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes…..funny little book about New York socialites…..funny but predictable. I practically wrote the ending myself a couple of chapters into it. A cute read though and a little glimpse into fashion and husband-hunting.
I’m off to see the nutritionist tomorrow. I guess what it’s really called is a “weight-loss class” at the Diabetes Program Center in Muskegon. I think I prefer “seeing the nutritionist.”

{dinner: assorted veggies and dip, H20–must mention that I drove my brother to Dogs N Suds for the much much coveted chili-dogs and fries, and I ordered only the veggie platter!}

{buckets and buckets of H2o today!}

What’s a TCBY Shiver? I don’t even know what it is and all of a sudden I want one!! Very curious to see what the nutritionist has to say I think you have been doing an excellent job the last week!! and if I went through a dog n suds theres no way I’d make it through with veggies!!!!!!

A tcby shiver is a frozen yogurt flurry…you can have mix-in’s added. I always get the white-chocolate fro-you with reece’s butter cups…(asked the girl to go light on the candy) They’re SO good. I may have another one today..as a treat! I think it was 8 points though when I looked it up.
Thom doesn’t want anyone else moving to Arky lol…he hopes people keep thinking it’s too hick so it will stay nice 🙂
I have a date. The last week in October/first week of Nov. I’ve told the TJs there that I’ll start there on November 12. Can’t tell you how nervous I am!
