….so the biggest deterrent to eating sensibly is living alone. No one here looking over my shoulder as I have dessert for dinner, eating while standing over the countertop, wolfing the sweets down in record time. No “looks” as I head to the fridge for the third time out of boredom. No other soul to worry about feeding. No one who cares that I headed out to another fast food joint for the fourth time in a week.
So when Liz suggested we email our meals back and forth for some moral support, I thought what a good idea. And listing my meals here, on my blog, even better. I don’t mean to make this a focus of my day….I just want to be held accountable for making better choices. And if I screw up…leave me a comment…
I’m gonna try to stick to the Weight Watcher point system. So…my meals for yesterday:
am: 1 cup yogurt & 1 peach
lunch: Italian mix salad w/cucumber, tomato, carrot & 2tbsp. dressing,
1 pita
1 cup watermelon
16 oz H2O
1 apple
pm: 18 homemade tortilla chips
homemade salsa
16 oz H2O
1/2 orange sherbet

I probably didn’t eat enough for Tuesday…I don’t actually have a lot of groceries so I’m making-do with what I had in the fridge at the time 🙂 which is also why I’m probably starving right now 🙂
Also…Jenn…I had bloodwork on Monday…and I’m seeing a nutritionist on the 24 th 🙂 And my doctor called me at work today to see how I was feeling…how’s that for healthcare?
