….Gotcha!

LOL….a bow, a ring, and some sparkle….I new that would get a few double-takes 🙂 No…I am not engaged but thanks for calling or emailing. Nice to hear from you! And, YES, when and if it really does happen, I WILL CALL people instead of posting it on my blog first 🙂

Anyway…the story of the bow, ring, and sparkle. Every afternoon when I come home from work, Thom and I have a little routine. We lay down together and talk about the day. I asked him what he did that day and…

Thom: I made a bow.
Gina: You did what?
Thom: a bow. Took me all day. Wanted it to be Martha
Perfect.
Gina: ummm…okay…how did that work out for you?
Thom: well….it’s in my pocket…why don’t you take a look
Gina: (skeptical…I’ve been down this road before) okay, maybe I
will

So….I reach into his shorts pocket…and what do I find? A ring box
**and the crowd sighs**. Not an engagement ring but I did wonder for half
a second. Actually, it was a beautiful blue topaz and sterling silver ring
that I ADORE. He’s so sweet. Alas, no pictures 🙁 Maybe this
weekend.

It’s the first day of my little 5 day vacation….I’m SO HAPPY to not be at work *sigh of relief*. Lots going on though. I’m up early doing laundry. Gonna run out to Walmart soon to pick up some stuff for our little trip.

Dress update: I finally found something to wear **shocker** It’s not a dress, but a skirt and top…and I picked up a new pair of heels…so all is well, I guess.

So…I’m thinking I need to wear something different on top for the afternoon wedding. Something with color? what do you think? And then where this for cocktails/dinner/reception? So many decisions…and I have no idea why I am obsessing over it.

Anyway…don’t know when I’ll post again…Hope you all have a great weekend! By the way…it’s Muskegon’s First Annual Bike weekend or something like that. Can’t even begin to tell you how BUMMED Thom is over missing it in our own front yard. I hear about it every time we hear a Harley drive by. Poor boy 🙁
