It’s 5 am. I’ve been awake for and hour and a half. *sigh* I slept for about 3 hours 🙁 So…I got up…loaded the dishwasher, sorted through a stack of magazines, picked up the apartment, and now here I sit reading a cookie cookbook and waiting for web pages to load. It’s gonna be a fabulous day.
Little White Lies and When in Rome are by Gemma Townley….and are cute, short, chick lit books. Fluff mostly and fairly predictable but her characters are adorable and even though they seem similiarly naive. Easy read.
Second Chance is by Jane Green and is good so far. I’m 3/4 of the way through, and like all Green’s novels, it’s interesting with many characters and many topics covered. This story is about a group of friends mourning the loss of a mutual friend in a terroist attack while also dealing with their own personal issues.
Both authors are English. I find myself reading a lot of chick lit by English authors and I really enjoy reading about London culture via light, funny chick lit books 🙂
5:58am ETA: I found two good things about being up so early…bagels with cream cheese and chocolate caramel nut latte *sigh*
Have a great day all!
