Do you always ask for more than you expect of yourself? Or do you push yourself and strive for more. Do you do as little as possible but expect the best results?
Just thoughts happening in my head tonight.
So this is it. Just thirty two minutes stand between me and December. Thirty two minutes until the end of #NaBloPoMo and thirty two, nay, thirty minutes to get something, anything, posted.
This blog posting challenge has been different for me this year.
Always Ask For More Than You Expect
I started with an “oh, it’s just thirty days, I’ll just throw something up every night” attitude. And then I got to a place where ideas were flowing. Crafting happened. Live video happened. I got inspired to think of more interesting things to record and post about and I can say the there are more posts I am proud of this month than in any of my past #NaBloPoMo attempts.
I meant to go back to each post and get a number of “real” posts weighted against those last-minute-rush-to-get-something-up posts.
There’s no need, though. I feel good about my blogging in November and I hope to carry that momentum into December and beyond into 2017.
I also meant to have something more profound to share this last night, but life happened. I made three dozen cupcakes and two kinds of frosting (well, three actually, if you count the brown sugar icing I attempted and miserably failed and burned setting off the smoke detectors).
Eleven minutes to get this post to bed. Ten. I suppose I should just end here and save you (and me) from a countdown to nothing.Ill be back soon. Why slow down now, right?
