I’ll preface this by saying I don’t get sick. Ever. Until I did. My refreshing new year spark of creativity has come to a grinding halt. I’m home in bed today after a night of high fever and tossing and turning.
I thought, maybe, I could get some more brainstorming in while I lie in bed but alas, my brain just isn’t functioning at full capacity.
I’m sipping on pumpkin tea and it occurred to me that I never shared about a pumpkin swap from back in October. And, when I say swap, I mean my friend, Yvette, sent me an awesome box of pumpkin spice goodies and her’s. Well. Her’s is sitting in a box in my craft room still needing to be sent off. I’m the worst swap partner ever.
Yvette, however, is the best swap partner ever. Seriously, she went way overboard. I didn’t even get a picture of all the goodies she sent (it was the start of holiday seasonal hiring at work and I was overloaded). My most favorite thing? Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter. Oh, you guys. Sinful. I ate it one spoonful at a time and it was the most delicious, decadent treat ever. I need a Trader Joe’s in Arkansas, y’all.
There were SO many other goodies-pumpkin spice chips, tortilla chips, pumpkin spice hoop art, and even a little Mickey/Pumpkin hand sanitizer from Disneyland. I truly am in awe of Yvette’s generosity. I’m thinking I need to beef up her package before I send it off (this month!)
Thank you, Yvette…you’re my pumpkin spice soulmate!
